The Dot Matrix display shows a
fronl view of the magnet, shooter lane, shooter ramp, trough and oothoie.
A switch or motor is considered "active" if It's area Is filled in. The 24" opto beam shown by a
dotted line (this represents the infrared be-am).
The
bottom line of the dlsptay shows a "lest
moving", or
"error"
line.
This test is similar In function to the coil test. The different SUb-tests can be selected by the Up
and Down buttons. There are thtee modes to this lest (controlled
by
the Enter button).

Interfere with the opto beam
when It is covered and
uncovered,
Ball Is loaded onto the magnet. The Up/Down coil is filled in when activated.
Same as Opto Check 1.
The ball moves across the playfield. The left and right gates lift up to allow the ball
to pass underneath. The magnet and motor shown on the display
are
filled in,
and the location of the ball is shown on the dotted line.
(Note:
There are two
balls shown when only one is in the Left Opto Pocket because two opto switches
are activated when a ball-enters. The Lett Opto Pocket Is shown as a dol when
it
sees a beam and as a ball when the-beam is broken.)
