Ask Uncle Willy #0: June 16, 1995

I'd like to start up a new feature on rec.games.pinball. The name of this feature is Ask Uncle Willy. The concept is that Uncle Willy will answer your questions about Williams/Bally pinball games. Keep in mind that it is not possible to answer all questions, especially those pertaining to games under development and product pricing. To start out, I've put together a few questions that I've seen recently.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Question: Who is Jorge Alfredo Gomez Y Marth, and is he/she one or
            two people?
Answer: Jorge Alfredo Gomez Y Marth is the full name of the designer
            of the Corvette pinball by Bally.  His family comes from Cuba;
Gomez is his father's name, Marth is his mother's. In order
to make it easier on the mainlanders, Jorge usually goes by
            the name of George Gomez.

While George is a fairly recent addition to the Williams/Bally
pinball game design team, he is an industry veteran. Some
of his past projects include the Tron video game, Hawk Avenger
novelty, Spy Hunter video, Midway Big Bat baseball.

Question: When is WMS going to spiff up their WWW page?
Answer: Plans and construction are underway for this effort. When there
is something cool there, you can be sure that it will be
announced. While we have some interesting plans, keep in mind
that resources have to be allocated for the effort (and Uncle
Willy is kept busy tracking down rumors of some bovine virus
            that keeps infecting our pinballs).

Question: Are there hidden adjustments in Black Knight?
Answer: Nope. In particular, there is no adjustment for the Mystery
timer. (Uncle Willy personally looked at the source code,
            just to make sure.)

That's it for now. Uncle Willy is looking forward to your questions.
