Bill Validator

For anyone wanting to install a bill validator, here is what I found that works quite nicely.

ICT  US4 12 Volt 300 capacity.

Larger capacity won't let you close the coin door.

Did you try any other validators before settling on the ICT?

I was shocked to find the harness was running 12v

No, in searching ICT from Happ was the best price I found.

Then I had to find an ICT 300 stacker, Happ only has 500 and that won't fit.

People have suggested Pyramid, though I have no experience with them.

I used an mei ae 2600 with a 300 bill magazine. but I'm having an issue with the bottom of the dba clipping the top of the coin box and moving it. In result the coins don't drop in the designated spots and get jammed. I finally took out the metal top of the coin drop box. The dba still moves the box but at least it works.

If they made the bottom of the cabinet 2mm deeper this would of solved the dba issue. I tried a coinco dba as well and it seemed to do the same thing. so either I'm doing something wrong or this game was never actually meant to have a bill acceptor installed.

They aren't doing anything wrong. You run into this on many Williams pins.

Secure the cable under the validator better helps. Many ops simply cut a piece out of the front top of the coin box.

MMR has a female connector where the bill validator plugs into.

If yours is different, could you please post a picture ?
