Ball stuck at left return lane switch
« on: July 29, 2016, 10:04:05 PM »
The ball keeps getting stuck, just below the I (in F-I-R-E) at the left return lane switch. It looks like the metal switch is sticking up too much into the playfield, and the ball just can't get over it. Am I going to do any damage if I try to bend the metal switch downward a little, so the ball can get over it, or is there another way to adjust it?

Gently bend the wireform of the switch down, but do it past the switch body so you don't effect the blade of the switch that pushes the knob into the body of the switch.

A little tweaking and you should get it where it doesn't trap the ball yet still works.
