All gates seem intact on the top of the playfield. Also found the one gate on the moat intact. Is there a gate in the castle?

MMR Support [MMR Members Only] / Castle not registering hits correctly (gate and lock)

About 10% of the time hits to the drawbridge, gate, or even through the castle don't register.

Also when the gate is open a shot through the lock can destroy the castle.

Sometimes it also appears a shot to the lock does not register.
