Hit Castle - Ball Lock Not Always Working

Weird thing, maybe i'm missing something, but when I hit the castle through the small castle door on the left there are times when the Ball Lock message doesn't appear.  Does this happen to anyone else?

Put the game into switch test and trigger the switch with a pinball a few times. See if you can see if it's a consistent issue or not.

Mine has had the same issue intermittently since day 1.  It's also fairly common on the original machines.  The correct fix will almost certainly be bending the wire form of the switch inside the lock shot so that it is impossible for the ball to roll over it without triggering the switch, I just haven't cared enough to disassemble it yet.

I had the same issue, and found one of the screws holding in that switch had fallen out.  Even after putting it back it'd fall out again eventually, so I finally bought a nut to hold the screw in, and that did the trick.
